水源の森

今回の映像作品ではまずシナリオを執筆し、それに沿うように映像作品が進行してゆきます。
豊林荘というのは瀬川葉子氏が幼少期を過ごした地域。
今では見ることも難しいオオミズアオの誘いで、過去に想いを馳せながら時代を超え、作品が整形される過程そのものを映像作品へと昇華させることを本件ではご提案させていただきました。

For this video work, the script was written first and the film progresses in accordance with that. Hourinso is the area where Segawa Yoko spent her childhood.
Invited by the great blue butterfly, which is now rare to see, our proposal for this project was to transcend time as we harkened back to the past, and to elevate the process of the film being shaped into a film.

過去と現在の境界があいまいとなり、もやもやとした世界にうつろなまま迷い込む。という抽象度の高い表現を実現するため、作品全体を通して「層」を意識しています。具体的にはこの映像作品は1つですが、複数の映像や画像を何重にも複雑に重ね合わせて3次元的に創り上げています。
この作品のために私は実際に豊林荘跡地にロケ撮影を行い、実際に撮影した素材と瀬川様の絵画を複雑に編集して今回の映像作品へ落とし込みました。

The boundary between past and present becomes ambiguous, and one is lost in a hazy world. In order to achieve this highly abstract expression, I was conscious of "layers" throughout the entire work. Specifically, this is one video work, but it is created in three dimensions by complexly layering multiple videos and images.
For this work, I actually filmed on location at the former site of Horinso, and intricately edited the actual footage with Segawa-san's paintings into this video work.
